User Comments about the Makita 6013BR 6.3-Amp 1/2-Inch Drill with Top Handle

We bought the first one about 5 or 6 years ago and never had a problem. The only reason we bought a new one is because the old one finally burned up the motor but we put it through alot more work than your typical weekend warrior. We use it to drill through a lot of wood for our panels that we build in our yard. I would definatley recommend this drill to any do it yourselfer or anybody else who needs a good qualtiy drill with plenty of power to handle any job you need to get done.

I still have the first one, bought in 1985 and it still works fine. 21yrs. I've changed the brushes in the old one about five times and blow it off every time its used and thats it. This is the second Makita 6013BR drill I've owned. My construction co. old and still going strong. does alot of heavy duty drilling so I had to buy a second one.
