Featuring an auto-release design that prevents router bits from sticking in the router, the 42950 can be used two ways: as a straightforward replacement collet, or to enable a router to handle shank bits measuring 1/2 inch. This is a good choice if you have ever had to release a 1/2" router bit from a standard collar. Good collett. This one makes it much easier to loosen the bit for extraction.
On a more serious note, The price was the lowest I could find, the service was fast, and everything worked as it should. This was the most amazing product. It held the router bits almost as if it were designed specifically for that purpose. Thats all you can ask. If I ever need another one I certainly will buy this product.
What can you say about a router collet. The only drawback with it is it won't get me a cold beer when I'm done working. It fits the router and it work very well.
