Buyer beware. Shipping and handling was also 5.99, the USPS envelope had a.76 stamp on it, seems like a lot extra just to stick something in an envelope. I recieved plain DeWalt 12v flashlight bulbs which are not as good as the Porter Cable Xenon bulbs (I have used both brands and the DeWalt is not as good) for the same price.
since porter cable battery flaslights use specific bulbs as replacement, this is a must have item.works great , now have light where i want it.and the price was good compared to other sites i visited
I use it all the time. This is the only bad thing about the flash light. One fall is all it takes. Great flashlight. My kids also love it and have broken the bulb once. Oh yeh, these bulbs are impossible to find locally, so do like I did and order a bundle. So did my brother-in-law.
Lowe's. Even when shopping online they turn up in places you would not normally look, ie: amazon.com. 12v flashlight bulbs are not exactly easy to find. Hey kids, they aren't just for books anymore.by the way the actual item I was looking for was DeWalt 12v flashlight bulbs, however my theory that the Porter-Cable bulbs would work in my DeWalt turned out to be true, for all I know it's the same manufacturer for both. nope. These are all places that sell the flashlight, but not the bulbs, strange but true. True Value.

These are extremely bright bulbs. Aimed at the celing from floor this bulb provides enough light to see clearly what you are doing in a 10' X 10' room with no problem. I have no idea how long of a life they have though because they don't survive a fall when hot in the model 869 flashlight.
