I am using this for string inlay. So far, so good. For that purpose, it works great. I am only cutting 3/32" deep, so I don't anticipate any problem with the tip breaking.

It lasted until I hit it accidentally with another tool. This is a good, durable bit. I am routing plastic with it. I am buying more. It's good for that and was durable.
