Editorial Reviews:

This heavy-duty crosscut blade is designed primarily for heavy use in a cabinetmaker's shop. Combining a 10 degree hook angle and the alternate top bevel tooth grind, this blade provides a good crosscut and long cutting life in hardwood, softwood, plywood, and chipboard. The LU73M series is ideal for cutting a wide variety of materials most commonly used by cabinet makers in thicknesses from 1/2" to 2-34" thick. User Comments about the Freud LU73M010 10-Inch 60 Tooth ATB Cabinetmaker's Crosscutting Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor

Sometimes I forget and rip wood too thick. I sometimes need to do this a second time, only if I've ignored and allowed this resin buildup to become quite excessive. Simply spray it on generously and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. It rips fairly well if you don't cut stock too thick. I'm very satisfied with this cross cut blade.

Brush the blade with a plastic brush and it comes off easily. It does everything I need from it. If I do this too much it seems to collect resin buildup on the sides and will cause burning if done too much. Again, my fault. The special expensive caustic cleaners don't work any better for me and are a waste of money as far as I'm concerned. I have only myself to blame when this happens. This resin will clean off quite easily with many household cleaners.

I have 8 of these Cabinetmaker's blades, I just love them. They stay on my saws so I use them for ripping and crosscutting from veneer to solid oak, I hate to stop and change blades and I never liked the combo blades.
