I was very disappointed to see the blade bcome dull after a relatively light use. Yes, Disappointed.
But come on Bosch. This is a "five star" tool that comes in a cardboard case. I bought this the Bosch flush cutter for undercutting some difficult door frames in my house and this tool was just what the doctor ordered. Who's the knuckehead that approved selling this fine saw without a decent case. I highly recommend it.
It runs like a sewing-machine on steroids, so it requires some thoughtful planning to use. With the right grip and some guide-blocks, I have even cut large dovetails with it. You certainly will want the miter attachment for cutting trim. This saw is as powerful as a reciprocating saw, yet as smooth as a Bosch jigsaw. If you are an experienced power-tool user, you will find this thing does certain tasks very well and is a great time-saver. I would not recommend this tool to everybody, but it is a unique problem-solver for me. You may need a spacer block or shim to trim doorjambs.
As undercutters they are the best. Used on a daily basis. I've owned two of these tools for over 10 years. They are for undercutting almost exclusively. I also own the Fein Multimaster, but the blades are too expensive. They do have a few more uses depending on your creativity, but don't ask them to do more than that.
This saw is just what is needed to get those door frames and cuts that are hard to do done. Should have owned a saw like this before
