Battery would not hold a charge, new out of the package - but Amazon made the return easy.

It Works. this battery is hard to find and this place is the cheapest I found it.

dead battery and lousy tech support. it wouldn't take a charge. the battery you sent me was dead. makita 1-800 tech support said to send it to their nearest service center, which i did. not a pretty picture. that was 3 weeks ago and i haven't heard back.

this is a good price for the battery I ordered, it was sent in a speedy manner

No worries about buying this battery, it is the exact equivalent to what came with my drill, which just plain wore out (too many charges). I even forgot I had replaced them until I saw this in my list of previous purchases.
