Perfect size for scrubbing fruits and veggies. Plus, it is dishwasher safe and sturdy.
The rubber grip remains easy to hold, even when wet. The bristles are short, (0.6 inches), and of moderate stiffness, so when you scrub, there is some give, but not a lot, and with a palm sized brush, you know exactly where the bristles are. The brush in the photo looks more circular rather than oval, and rather than having ridges that circle around the edges, the sides of the Good Grips brush are smooth. Unless the product has been redesigned, the brush pictured does not appear to be current version of the Good Grips Vegetable brush. Well named, the best attribute of the Oxo Good Grips Vegetable brush is its rubber grip, which is oval shaped with a rounded top, and fits near perfectly in the palm of your hand, allowing you to get a rock solid grip, and effectively apply cleaning force. The brush is a little pricey, but it is very well designed, and feels great in your hand. It does a very good job of cleaning vegetables, and at other general cleaning tasks.
Nice little kitchen brush, about the size of half an apple, but slightly slimmer/oval. Great simplistic design, quality, looks great by the kitchen sink :) Nice feel to it. Bristles are just right soft/stiff, "tighter" than above image shows (not a good depiction of it.not round).
It is easy to clean, has lots of bristles, can be used both wet and dry, and allows a secure and comfortable hand grip when in use. A recommended fix for a future version would be to modify the form to gain stability when not in use, so as to stay put and not to rock back and forth when on its back. It really is a great little brush.It stores nicely on its back, too, though rolls around a bit when opening/closing the storage drawer. I have yet to use it much because it arrived one week ago though was immediately impressed by the ergonomic form as well as the solid construction of this vegetable brush. It is given 4 stars initially because it will be interesting to see how it wears and how long it lasts, though every indication is that it should work for several years. That said, this minor fix would not be worth negatively effecting the comfortable hand-hold in the present version. Highly recommended and purchased on the basis of others' recommendations.
It definitely takes the dirt off quickly and easily. This is yet another great Oxo product - I haven't met an oxo gadget I didn't like. so far. Highly recommend. This scrubber is easy to hold and makes quick work of cleaning potatoes.
