It works just as described. Don't leave in charger for long forgot and too days later I removed and battery was hot. I bought for my dog and it will take some time for him to adjust to the sound and vibration of the dremel. This has many applications handy to own.

DO NOT BUY THE PETICURE (even if you opt not to purchase a Dremel)- they don't honor their warranties and the silly thing broke the first time I used it. It is VERY easy to use, nail trimming went much faster than expected, and I was able to trim four large animals' nails before having to recharge the battery. I wasted a lot of money on the Peticure and related products before purchasing a Dremel. I am really impressed with this product. Dremel rocks, however. I wish I had known about it before wasting all my money on similar products.

We try feeding her treats while grinding her nails but she still squeals, squirms, and cries :( At least we don't cut the quick anymore, and it makes the edges nice and smooth. We tried using the clippers first but I cut the quick once and started crying. So we read all the reviews and picked the Dremel because of its great reviews. Oh, and make sure you keep the pads of the other toes away so the dremel doesn't accidentally rub against them. Our puppy HATES it.

This tool would be good for small things but if you want a REAl tool good for many things GET THE STRONGER ONE. HOWEVER the battery they sold as an extra along with it DOES NOT FIT this tool the voltage is the same but the shape is not right round hole sqare peg sorta thing and by the time we found out it was too late and probably not worth the expense to try to fix it. I found the dremmel tool to be great for trimming dog toe nails which is what we purchased it for. SHAME on amazon for paring things as the replacement for something when its not. Would HIGHLY recomend this over Pedipaws Now we are out 15 so not such a good deal.
