Editorial Reviews:

Our tool tables are constructed of heavy-gauge steel with patented leg brackets, 13-1/2-by-23-1/2-by-1-inch MDF tops and a sturdy four-corner bracing system - which allows them to support 500 pounds. The lower braces are pre-drilled for an auxiliary shelf (plans included) and feature adjustable, rubber-tipped feet. Choose from a 20-inch or 30-inch high model to meet your workshop needs. Both assemble quickly.

User Comments about the HTC HBT-320 20-Inch Deluxe Tool Table

I searched the internet. It was easy to assemble and is solidly built. Thanks Amazon & HTC. I was looking for a low bench to put a table top drill press on that weights about 110 pounds. I am happy with it and would order again from that manufacturer.

I am short and the basement ceiling is low and I wanted to get at the speed adjustment belt on top of the drill press. Amazon had it listed. It looked solid and worth the money so I ordered it. Of course Amazon saw to it that is was deliverd in a very period of time.

Amazon.com recommends this stand for the Delta 13" planner. Go with the 30" table. But unless you are a midget or one who works on their knees, this 20" table is not near tall enough. Don't make the mistake that I did.

I did get to exercise HTC's customer service when I found the cross pieces included with my unit were for the larger HBT-330 stand. Compared to the Sears version, this unit has higher quality components and the mobile base fits much better than the generic adjustable bases. I bought HTC's HBT-320 tool stand and the HRUS-320 mobile base. And, with Amazon's free shipping it didn't cost any more than Sears. Nothing difficult and the instructions are quite good. You do have to leave all the screws loose while assembling the cross pieces as the design puts some tension between the legs and cross pieces. In trying to force the wrong cross pieces between the legs, I had pulled out several screws attaching the legs to the top, hence my request for a new top.

The tool stand requires assembly, including locating and drilling holes in the top. Customer service was very helpful, and the replacement pieces, along with a new top, were shipped without question or any charge. All in all, I'm very happy with the stand and the mobile base, and the new drill press fits perfectly on top. With the right pieces, it went to together easily.

An excellent tool table for any 'bench-top' tool. Your local Sears store is a far better source for this type tool. But it took ten days to ship and five to be delivered.
