Editorial Reviews:

Providing superior performance for cutting concrete, reinforced concrete, stone, granite, brick, and tile, the DeWalt 7-inch continuous rim industrial dry cut diamond blade lasts up to 100-times longer than standard abrasive blades. The blade's rim features an advanced diamond matrix reinforced with cobalt steel that provides long life and enhanced material removal. Diamond blades cut faster and easier with less power requirements, and allow for a straight constant depth of cut while eliminating multiple blade changing. This 7-inch blade features a 5/8-inch diamond knock-out arbor, and was designed to be used with 7-inch and 7-1/4-inch circular high-torque saws and worm drive saws.

User Comments about the DeWalt DW4702 Industrial 7-Inch Dry or Wet Cutting Continuous Rim Diamond Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch and Diamond Knockout Arbor

Purchased this to cut granite countertop and backsplash. I'm happy with the blade and will be nice to have it for future projects. This did the job fine and easily cut dark gabbro type granite.

There was no overheating and the cuts were straight and sharp.I made over fifty cuts so far with no noticeable loss of function. I used this blade on a Makita Hypoid Saw (dry) to cut through reinforced concrete.I had debated whether I should use this blade on my saw or a large abrasive one on a gas-powered saw (which I'd have to rent). This blade ate through the material surprisingly well. It's well worth the money since a cheaper blade will last you a fraction of the time. It ate through three inches of concrete with absolutely no problem in two passes.

Not cheap, but lasts a long time. In comparison, it was not as bad as I thought, and if you only expect to do a little cutting, the thinner kerf and lower price may be for you. DeWalt makes a cheaper black diamond blade that only lasts they say 30X. I've also used one of those blades.
