We use these daily for all of our finish woodworking. Mirka always put out a great product. Packed in a durable box and good price.
I have not had any sheets disintegrate. I build fine furniture and find that the Mirka paper holds up well on cherry and walnut. I have been using this Mirka sandpaper (grits from 80 to 220)on my Porter Cable sander for about six years. It cuts fast and seems to last a fairly long time (a few hours of sanding time). It also holds well to the hook and loop on my P-C. When it does wear out I typically keep a few sheets around to use as a "finer" grit or to do hand sanding.
This sandpaper is 5 hole. But other than my mistake in ordering it, I have used it with the PC343 and it sands and sands and sands. I have found suppliers selling it for $16 for all grits. Bought a box of this to go with my PC 343 sander. If plan on getting several boxes or the higher grits, it is available from other online suppliers for $16 a box (Plus $6 shipping). The PC 343 is 8 hole. Price is alright if you are buying just one box. Picks up dust reasonably well considering I am only using approx 2 or 3 out of the 5 holes.
Don't make the same mistake as I did. The paper is heavyweight and last a lot longer than what I was using with my C-backed 3M sander. Just do some surfing, you may get better deals from time to time with store promotions. Probably the best sand paper I have used in a long time.
Works great on my Porter Cable 333. High quality Not a failure in the box.
I make a quality product and I know that quality abrasives make a big difference. Lasts twice as long as others, yielding a superior finish with less fatigue. This is one of the best discs I have ever used, and the price makes these Mirka discs an outstanding value. Before I finished using the 1st disc, I KNEW I was using a quality product.
