This is the tool that can do that job that you never could do. Just holding it in your hand will make you a believer. Plenty of knock offs out there but none compair to the quality of Fein.
When I called, they sent out a replacement immediately. The Fein is great. You can tell the quality just by the length of the power cord. Although the woman in customer service treated me like I was trying to get a free cutter from them. One of the cutters was bent in the box.
The Multi Master is a great time saving tool. The convex cutting attachment works great at cutting carpet with a wood floor below, if the floor is cement the blade dulls too fast to be of much use
The size of the blade is just right. Of the multitude of tools that come with the Multi Master, in my opinion this is one that should be included. Razor sharp and extremely durable. You can but this item with confidence. I have cut garden hose, a 10 sheet thick owners manual (cut out the spanish/french portion, a leather belt I needed to trim (lost weight :-) and I cut a thick piece of cardboard to make a template and it handled all of these items like a hot knife through butter.
