User Comments about the The Big Book of Weekend Woodworking: 150 Easy Projects (Big Book of ... Series)

Book came in a timely matter and in good condition. My employee was very happy with the book.

This might be popular in the US, but not here in Europe. I was very disappointed when I first opened this book. The projects are so old-fashioned, I hardly found a couple of nice designs. It is mentioned in the description of the book that the designs are classic, but I expected something else. If you want to equip your home with things that look 100 years old, you should buy this book - but I do not like this style.

This has a few furniture projects as well as toys and other items. This book has a LOT of projects because this is a thick book. I'm very impressed with the projects. I recommend this book for anyone looking to make a variety of projects of various sizes. Many of them are larger projects than what I need since I am a middle school woods teacher and I am looking for smaller projects than many of these are, but that is not the fault of the book so I did not lower the score because it wasn't exactly what I was looking for.

Some vaguely interesting projects. Some toys projects that might make good gifts or projects to get the kids off the video game consoles and doing something. You might just want to check this book out from your local library before deciding if you want to spend your hard earned cash on it. Nothing here to extend woodworking skills beyond cutting and nailing boards though. A couple of nice clock projects.

This is a well illustrated book and has quite a variety of projects. It is a very good value if you are a beginner in woodworking and want to pump out some nice pieces of work on a weekend. I returned it because I was looking for more challenging projects.
