I did enjoy the book. A lot of what she had to say was common sense, but said we a bit of humor.
A speech turned into a book it discusses such topics as being flexible with your plans, having courage, learn from fear, have some balance to your life, have some gratitude towards others, remember who made you, and keep a childlike quality about you as you go out into the real world. A nice reflection of reality.
Ilove Barbara Walters book, it helped me feel like I know her as a person, and I loved what I found out about her. Everytime I hear her on TV I feel I want to know her better, and I feel sure the two books I purchased of hers will do just that. She is a real person.I know I will love and enjoy Maria Shrivers books.
Should be read by every woman, young or old. But, it is especially helpful for teen aged women in high school.
I bought this book for my daughter who was 20 at the time. She said it was informative, but corny.
